Skyworks - Insurance Requirements/Damage Waiver

Skyworks Requires The Following Insurance:

Liability Insurance: All customers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability insurance.

Rental Equipment Property Coverage: (ex. Inland Marine Insurance, Rented Equipment Insurance) Rented Equipment Insurance with a minimum of $100,000 is required. If a Certificate of Insurance is not provided evidencing Rented Equipment Coverage as described above, a Damage Waiver Charge will be added to the rental (15% of the rental amount).

Insurance Certificates may be emailed to COI@skyworksllc.com . If you have any questions regarding Insurance Certificates, please feel free to speak to your local branch representative or call 716-822-5438 and ask to speak with the Certificate of Insurance Department.

Loss and Damage Waiver (LDW) - LDW is Not Insurance

Uninsured Rentals will be charged LDW (Loss and Damage Waiver) which may be waived if proof of property damage coverage for rented equipment is presented prior to rental.

LDW limits the customer’s responsibility for accidental damage (as determined by Skyworks, LLC) to an amount equal to the four week rental fee for the item.

LDW does not apply if rented equipment is misused, abused, used negligently, or operated outside the terms of the rental agreement, the company or the manufacturer’s guidelines, or normal operating procedures.

LDW is not permitted for over the road licensed vehicles. Property Damage Insurance is required for over the road vehicles.
